The Old Barn Campsite
Early Spring break to relax the weekend before the Isle of Wight Takeover lands with all there super dooper modified noisy cars taking over the island roads and camp grounds.
It's a well appointed site with spectacular views yet within walking distance of Morrisons for any forgotten supplies.
We will be able to gather in the Old Barn for our morning coffee and a social on the Saturday evening (full details to follow).
The cost is £16.50 pupn including electric hook up.

A Wight Steam Up on the Real Ale Train Weekend. Havenstreet Railway.
This July, join the Isle of Wight DA for a weekend of Steam Trains and Real Ale at the award-winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway. A large range of Real Ales will be on offer as well as the opportunity to ride the Real Ale Train.
This is a popular event, and we are pleased to be able to offer camping on the site itself. Within easy walking (or stumbling!) distance to the bar on-site which opens at 1600 on Saturday, as well as a special train timetable for the weekend. Beers will also be served at both Ashey and Wootton stations.

Camping is available for two nights from Friday 17th July . There is no EHU available on site. Own sanitation is advisable, but there are toilet facilities available on site. Please note that arrival and departure times are strictly controlled as access to the site involves crossing the Railway Track. Arrival on Friday must be after 14.00. Departure on Sunday can be either pre 1030, between 1230 - 1300 or after 1630. Unfortunately, we are not permitted any vehicle movements outside of these times as the station is open to the public.
The original price on Out and About app was £22pupn but we have decided to keep it the same as last year at£20.00pupn.

Now that the Islands only Club Site has closed here is your opportunity to come to the Isle of Wight.
The Isle of Wight D A are again running a Temporary Holiday Site from 2pm Wed 29 July until 2pm Wed 26 Aug on the stunning Isle of Wight.
The dates include the weekend of the Garlic Festival which is in walking distance (assuming it is held on it's normal Weekend)
The site has bus stops outside the gate giving access to the islands treasures, which if you know the island are too many to put here. There is a pub serving excellent food that even I can walk to from the site along a wide grass verge/footpath.
The site is a quiet flat grass field with water and waste facilities and also a separate dog walking area.
Own sanitation is essential. Restricted electric hook up is available through the site owner.

AGM Meet
Our A G M meeting is to take place at Dairyman's Daughter's Camp Site, Hale Common, (rear of the Suzuki Garage) over the Easter Bank Holiday. It's a 5 night meet so please come and support us.
The site is large and flat with limited Electric Hook ups. There are bus stops at the entrances and a pub serving food along a wide grass verge and footpath that even I can manage.
There is fresh water, a CDP and domestic rubbish disposal. Assuming the mobile home on site isn't rented out there is a bathroom with hot and cold water, basin, shower, bath and proper loo
The cost is £13 pupn. plus £4.00 pupn for EHU. (Payment details when you book).
We will put the DA Marquee up on the Thursday or Friday depending on weather and the number of volunteers available, refreshments for the helpers will be on hand. When up the Marquee can be used by all to socialise in during the weekend.
The AGM will be held on the Saturday 4th April TBC doors open at TBC. An American Supper will be held after. (Full details to follow) Please bring valid membership card to the AGM
If you don't want to camp but just come to The AGM and support your DA you're most welcome and if you want to stay for the American Supper just bring some food to share a seat each and plate drinks and cutlery.
You can stay the whole 5 nights or for just a few of them its up to you
