To the members of Isle of Wight Camping and Caravanning Club. DA.
October 1. 2021
From your Chairman.
Well the weather was good for the Adgestone rally, and for Amy and Dan’s wedding anniversary, we wish them well for the future and many more anniversary’s to come. The bangers and mash went down a treat. I don’t think we could have improved on it at all, the weather was good, the company was excellent, and everyone seemed to enjoy them selves, so well done the team.
The next rally was the Fighting Cocks weekend, I am sure that those who attended enjoyed the weekend. The Friday and Saturday had excellent weather and helicopters to entertain us. I am also sure everyone enjoyed our evening meal in the pub.
Unfortunately Sunday started a bit damp, but by midday the sky did brighten up, but again it was still a good weekend.
So what is happening next?
Well a weekend is booked for a Sausage and Burger Bonfire Night at the Dairyman’s Daughter Site on the 5th to the 7th of November 2021, more details on that will come from Paul. We look forward to having a good turn out for that and a great weekend.
I also understand that Paul is going to see if he can arrange some coffee mornings in local restaurants such as Thomson’s Garden Centre, or Butterfly World, or somewhere similar. I am also aware that investigations are in hand in find some good locations for rallies in 2022.
Well that is all for now, I look forward to seeing you all at the forthcoming Bonfire Night and also future coffee/breakfast mornings and rallies.
All the best from your Chairman Ron and his wife Ann.
